Separated, Chosen, And Equipped By Grace!

Apostle Paul as we all know him now was formerly Saul, who persecuted the believers of his days – Acts  9:9. However, when the Lord wanted someone who will say it as it is, bold, unassuming, and zealous, He chose Saul! Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.

Set apart

And Paul on his path ran with the Lord’s request with the same speed, zeal, determination, and boldness with which he persecuted the Church. He did not seek validation, nor approval from anyone, he heard from Christ and obeyed promptly!

Galatians 1:11 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.    …….    15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, 16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood, 17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.

How often do we get a revelation of Jesus Christ and we end up looking for support here and there to do what we have been asked to do and in the process end up with a distortion or discarding the instructions outrightly? Note that it is you that will have to give an account of what you did with what you have been given! Everyone will give an account of what they received and what was done with it!

It is not too late if you are reading this note. Today, ask for mercy and help from the owner of your life. He will help you and give you new vigor! Run with the vision God has given you. Let nothing hinder or discourage you. You were chosen for a time like this.

Just thinking of this, “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb – Galatians 1:15. This is Paul’s words after been instrumental to many believers death, including Steven’s. How can this be? That is simply a good God holding on still to a child who has gone astray, far away from the original plan of God. Incidentally, it is people like such that God uses in an uncommon way, confounding the wise!

EphesianAre you one of such? A murderer? Adulterer? Idolater? Liar? Gossips? Fornicator? Proud? Greedy? Selfish? A product of rape, incest? Whatever, you have dabbled into in time past, and even presently the Lord will forgive, cleanse, and empower you. Have faith in God! He will transform and use you for His glory, all you need to do is to repent, turn away from your wicked ways and with open arms the Lord wait for you, to embrace you.

Will you ask Jesus Christ to have mercy on you today? He awaits that very whisper from your mouth. Call upon Jesus today!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
