Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Mark 10:48-52 NIV
Friends, there are many things, situations, circumstances, and sad to say, people that will discourage you from pursuing your greatest desire to see, to serve, speak, walk, to reproduce, to pioneer uniqueness, to become all that heaven has ordained for you. You do not have to let this situation and people dissuade you from crying all the more as blind Bartimaeus did.
You need to cry all the more, you know He is able, Jesus is able as settled in your heart, so go ahead and cry all the more! Don’t you ever lose hope, don’t let discouragement wear you out. Cry all the more unto the Lord and your faith shall heal you!
Shalom!’ Shalom Shalom!
