Rhema! God Focused!

At a critical point in our lives, when we get a rhema, we often are more inclined to see and apply the rhema to our personal issues rather than God’s Kingdom and will.

It amazes me that this is not the case with the Samaritan woman who met with the Lord Jesus at a well! Her greatest concern even then was about how she can worship the Lord, the sustainer of all lives.

I was surprised she did not ask why her relationships one after another has brought her pain. Why is she unlovable and all sorts!! But rather, she asked for clarification as to where to worship the Lord! She was God focused!

John 4:19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”

This woman like the mad man of Gadara – Luke 8-26-39, were vessels of honor that Satan and his demons fight tooth and nail to destroy by all means.

Talk about Jesus Christ himself, Moses, Joseph, Rahab, Daniel and the three, Gideon, Paul the Apostle, you and I. We all are light that shines and darkness cannot comprehend!

Every vessel that are ordained of God for great use will always come under the greatest resistance from Satan, the archenemy of everything God.

Like the Samaritan woman and all the vessels used mightily of God before us, we must learn to be GOD FOCUSED! Focusing on God is the only way to walk on water like Peter, soar on wings like eagles and walk upon our high places.

Seek ye therefore, first the Kingdom of God and all other things shall be added unto you – Matthew 6:33.

When you are focused on doing God’s will, you get victory over all the whiles of Satan.

Stay focused!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
