Kindness Is A Virtue

Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

One of the fruit of the spirit is kindness.

As a believer, transformed by the word of God. One of the evidence of your transformation is that you will begin to bear this fruit- Kindness. You either have it or not. You cannot fake it for it has a fragrance of it own.

Pray that Christ’s love, grace, and Word will take root downward in you and bear the fruit of kindness upwards in your heart.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

  1. I love this. When we show kindness to a person it is hard for them to treat you bad, but if they do continue to be mean, one thing is for sure. That individual will always remember how kind you were to them despite how rude they were.

    1. That is absolutely right Sis. I have heard this many times over, “He/she is so kindhearted, I wonder why people are so mean to him/her! As believers, we will continue to bear good fruits regardless of if it is reciprocated, admired, emulated, or not! We are answerable to our Source and King who empowers us!
