Man, Woman, And Posterity!

Union between a man and a woman is the first institution ordained by God as stated in the account of creation- Genesis 1:27 For so God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. ²⁸ Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 2:18 however is where I am going to for the Lord said “And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

God created woman to be a help mate, she was comparable to him, she was to be treated like an equal, a part of a man, but man since Adam had a “defect” if I may say, for man delegated the dominion mandate to love and care for All that God had placed before them to the woman. Man was not approachable in the Garden then, neither are they approachable even now. Man had always chosen the high road, centered on themselves, career, business, leisure and other interest, leaving the woman to dominate every spheres, raising and training children, homemaking and so on were relegated.  The one sphere man seem to have mastered and are excelling is in procreating, for man can sow as many seed as possible amongst very many fertile but not necessarily pure soil and can start fire in a bulrush in a twinkle.

So why have I included the accounts of these Kings below? This is to let the man know that the kind of life lived will determine their posterity. God did not bother so much about the sin of the woman like that of the man, for the man carries the seed of life in his loin. Jezebel was dealt with in that she died a gruesome death and dogs licked her blood, however Ahab’s lineage was cut off including his relatives, every single male. This is a warning!!!!!  I don’t think there is a red blooded man that do not want to leave an offspring to carry his seed generation unborn, be it female or male! A lot depend on the men folks, please take your rightful place so posterity can bless you! Repent today and seek the face of God, for God is not willing that any should perish but have everlasting life.

There is opportunity even today to make amends and seek God’s face for direction.

So therefor, Godly men reading this, God has called you and placed you in a home to be a “god” and not a “demon” or a “parasite” sucking life out of the very woman and offsprings you are called to care for and nurture to health and vitality! Neither should you be a weakling, subject to manipulation, ruled and controlled by the Jezebel of our time. 

2 Chronicles 7: ¹³ When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, ¹⁴ if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ¹⁵ Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

1 Kings 16:³⁰ Now Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the Lord, more than all who were before him. ³¹ And it came to pass, as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians; and he went and served Baal and worshiped him. ³² Then he set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. ³³ And Ahab made a wooden image. Ahab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him. 1 Kings 21:21²¹ ‘Behold, I will bring calamity on you. I will take away your posterity, and will cut off from Ahab every male in Israel, both bond and free. ²² I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, because of the provocation with which you have provoked Me to anger, and made Israel sin.’ ²³ And concerning Jezebel the Lord also spoke, saying, ‘The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.’ ²⁴ The dogs shall eat whoever belongs to Ahab and dies in the city, and the birds of the air shall eat whoever dies in the field.”

2 Kings 21: ¹⁰ And the Lord spoke by His servants the prophets, saying, ¹¹ “Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations (he has acted more wickedly than all the Amorites who were before him, and has also made Judah sin with his idols), ¹² therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Behold, I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle. ¹³ And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down. ¹⁴ So I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become victims of plunder to all their enemies, ¹⁵ because they have done evil in My sight, and have provoked Me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.’”

Lives get turned upside down by the sins of Fathers, therefor I am appealing to every Father out there, this also applies to everyone playing the role of a Father both spiritual and physical , adopted and foster. Let us endeavor to make a positive impact in the lives of those around us.
