Keep Waiting On Grace!

May the Lord strengthen you and I with might by His spirit in our inner man so that Christ may dwell richly in our hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:16

Waiting On Grace!

Psalm 16 – Affirmation! After Grief.

I feel alive, hopeful, optimistic and confident! Hooray! Thank you Jane for helping me to articulate this!

I am thankful for this state of mind. The last few months have not been easy with the rollercoaster of emotions of grief, love, and loss.

In all, this very present day is sunny, calm, and beautiful! I feel a change of scenery. It seem the universe is shifting, rearranging element for my pleasure.

Today is the appointed time for a mindset shift, or change. I think I prefer the word change. Shift seem to connote the fact that it may shift backwards, either way, and change for me, seems more permanent. I want that!

This is my desire. A permanent change of mind! A positive and progressive turn around!

Do you desire a positive and progressive turn around? Are you ready for a mindset change? A move from grief, pain, and guilt to joy, pleasure/peace, and acceptance? To move from where you are towards where you want to be will require you to be intentional. You must guard your heart! Proverbs 4:23

  • You must be self aware! What do you focus on regardless of what has happened and what is happening all around you? Focus on the rays of light in the dark
  • What are you listening to? What message are you absorbing into your subconscious? Listen to uplifting, positive, and inspiring messages
  • What are you saying? Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. How positive and optimistic are your utterances? Speak what you desire to manifest
  • What are the virtues you see in yourself? You do have some nice ones! Celebrate and nurture those. Celebrate yourself. You are doing well under the circumstances
  • Accept yourself for who you are right now and work daily to be a better version of yourself. Embrace the totality of your being. Self love is important

My grief took me on a journey. The past few years has be tumultuous on its own before the losses of so many loved ones over a short period. It seem the dam of pain broke loose and I went spiralling down a dark alley.

I know I could not continue the way I was, grief stricken and bowed down. I need a change. I want me back. And better! Thankfully, overtime, and subtlety, the Lord gave me pointers that I needed. I sought for help, and followed the pointers above. I am not where I need to be yet, however, I have moved closer to where I need to be.

I started to see myself through the eyes of my loving father and my loved ones. What would they want for me I asked? I know they would want me to be happy, joyous and full of the sunshine I was born with.

Lord, I don’t want to go back to where I was before today! In your mercy, keep my eyes on your love, grace, and the possibilities, and the assurance of your constant presence in my journey of living eternity unending. For in your presence Oh Lord are pleasures for evermore Psalms 16.

Ask, Seek, Knock – His Will

Many times we ask for the wrong things, seek for what will harm us in the long run, knock on the door of perdition.

As humans at best with minimal understanding of the WILL of God, we ask amiss.

Today, ask for understanding, seek for wisdom and truth, knock on the door of growth! Pray the Kingdom of God over all.

Shalom!

Self Assessment Drives Growth

Every organization in the secular world conduct assessment on all employees, it encourages individual self assessment, and promote continuous learning to drive self and process improvement for the sustainability of the organization.

I want to let you know that the Scriptures also encourages believers to assess themselves to drive repentance, growth and maturity as a witness to our inward transformation, and outward representation of our divinity.

“Brothers and Sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive rich welcome into the eternal kingdom” 2 Peter 1:10-11

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you – unless, of course, you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5

This piece is culled from The Magic of Thinking Big

Friends, when was the last time you examined yourself? When was the last time you conducted an evaluation of yourself to identify faith gap, unbelief, doubt, and outright sin in your life? It is what we know that is lacking in us that we will talk to our Father in heaven about, and get help with.

I know many of us see ourselves as perfect and has no room for improvement. We are just great the way we are eh? Yes! You are wrong if you think and act like this. The very wise know that what they do not know is so much more than what they already know, hence they listen more, ask questions, research, and observe more keenly, they learn, and take action to apply every knowledge gained.

You and I need to do a check up of ourselves friends, not to be critical of ourselves, but to identify where we need to grow, and repentance becomes easy when we realize our mistakes and shortcomings. Self assessment truly drives growth if you think about it.

Do the necessary checkup! Then talk to our helper about it!
Shalom!

In Touch

Get Intouch With Your Humanity

In our own world, in our own safe space, we tend to lose touch with reality.

The suffering of others we begin to explain away, and gradually, we lose touch with our humanity.

See, you cannot really intercede for me if you are not touched by my infirmity.

Neither can you pray for me if you do not love me.

Find ways to care for someone outside of your immediate family.

I implore you friends to reconnect with your humanity! Look your neighbor in the eyes, and ask how are you, mean it by waiting for the answer!

Let’s find ways to be an extension of love!

Let me know any step you will take in your own little way.

DM me, let’s start the conversation.

Burden, Confession, Healing

Confessions is tied to healings. It’s God’s word, God’s way! Obey!

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Is anyone still obeying this scriptures? Not so much I guess!

There are not many that can be trusted to keep confidential conversation secrets including ministers of the gospel! There’s so much lack of ethics and integrity in the institution! You end up hearing your matter from the pulpit!

Friends, May the Lord guide you to a godly burden bearer. It could be anyone, a total stranger could be what a friend of many years can’t be! Be led by the Spirit!

Shalom!
