Thank you for this scriptural reminder, as I have shared with you my struggle with being still during prayer and meditation. With prayer being a conversation, I could miss God’s whisper if I am not quiet. My therapist helps me to focus on staying ” in the moment”. This is so important as I have a tendency to be critical of myself for past events and anxiety over future events. It is only ” in the moment” can I truly listen. Thank you so much for sharing your walk of faith!
Absolutely! Staying still is one of the challenges we face as a Christian when we walk in our own timing! We often forget we are first a Spirit being existing in eternity and also as a physical being with very minute time. By His grace we get still by the spirit help. Blessings on you!
