Joy Of His Presence!

Have you been asked why you are joyful? Or maybe, you know someone who is been watched to see if they are quite right “upstairs”!

You see friends, real joy is dependent on who you have in you! Mr and Mrs insecurity, envy, jealousy, hatred, greed, hypocrisy, wickedness and many more will always, always drive joy away from you!

They always encourage you to compare yourself to the Jones’s and the Stewards. They will always point out how luscious the hair of Mrs Jones is, and her nails. How beautiful the Stewards’ cats are! And how the sun seem to shine on your roof top better than theirs!

What am I saying here? Every single one of us has something going for us that could be our neighbors prayer point and vis a vis!

To each of us a measure of blessings has been given by God. Be thankful, be grateful, and stay with God truthfully, for only then can your joy be sustained.

If you notice that when you see a sister or brother smiling, dancing, celebrating, joyful or what not, you suddenly feel unhappy and sad, please check yourself into the clinic of the Holy Spirit! Let him flush that demon out fast!!

Many times, I’ve had to check myself in there for such and many more like anger, and impure thought! The Holy spirit will always point out to you when you are speaking or reacting from a place of envy, jealousy, insecurity, arrogance and the likes.

Do yourself a favor to listen and ask God to forgive you or else your joy will deflate like a balloon.

Holy Spirit, spirit of the Most High God, thank you for guiding us into all truth. Thank you for revelation knowledge. You alone knows what we are struggling with individually. Help us to overcome our shortcomings, and to overlook others high handedness / shortcomings.

Lord let your love fill and purify our hearts in Jesus name. Amen
