The world is full of idols. There are too many things, money, people, lifestyle and so much more that Satan has put in place for many to worship today in the world. Satan told Jesus to bow down to him less we forget.
Therefore, man of God, woman of God, know this and let it sink in. The Lord hates idol worship! Stop building idols in the heart of your hearers.
If you say this about you or another: I have a degree from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton, my father and father in law are on the Forbes list of the richest people in the world, you live in a $10 million dollar home, got 4 planes in your airstrip on your property, and so on and so on every opportune time to speak you are simply saying worship me, worship him or her!
This is already been done by the god of this world, every media outlet is bombarding us already about materialism, who is worthy of “worship” “starism”!
Put Christ Jesus on the pedestal and keep Him there alone! Stop sharing center stage with Christ for it is a dangerous thing! More dangerous for your hearers ‘cos they will worship man when they should be worshipping God the creator of heavens and earth, the one that has the breath of all beings including yours!
Let your essence be Christ in you the hope of glory! Put Christ on the pedestal always and you’ll receive the adulation you crave, for Christ will be revealed in you!
