Mark 1:37 And when they found Him, they exclaimed; “Everyone is looking for you!”
38 Jesus replied, ” Let us go somewhere else – to the nearby villages- so I can preach there also. That is why I have come”.
39 So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
Again here, like in Verse 22, when Christ Jesus was been sought after, he went seeking for who to impact. He new He had to touch many others, He knew he was a conduit of love, kindness, grace, and everything good, most importantly, Salvation!
Friends, we are a conduit of everything we have received, we must keep pouring out grace to remain fresh or else we become stale and loose touch with the purpose for which we have been called.
I wonder where you and I have stopped because we are presently sought after, and we have limited the grace bestowed by Christ to be His extension to the whole world.
This must be why He gave the charge when He was finally leaving us in Matthew 28:19 -20
“”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”
I pray Lord for the grace to obey, to seek after, to be an extension of you to the “nearby villages”
May we all as beholding Of Christ reach out to our world – those nearest to us with the virtues we already have.
Shalom! Shalom!
