Some hours ago, while writing about “Relationships on my mind! Cleaving as a pair!” I prayed that God will gived us peace in our marriages, calm the storms, grant us grace to weather the storm, and restore broken hearts and homes.
You see friends, holy matrimony, marriage is the most important relationship apart from our relationship with Jesus Christ, the success of which can make us or mar us.
However, the success of your marriage or its failure is not the criteria for hearing that phrase, “well done, good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord. Matthew 25:23.
Paul was never married, the Samaritan woman had one too many, yet she met with the Lord, she became an evangelist! The only criteria to hear Matthew 25:23 like Billy Graham just heard few hours ago is to believe in the Lord Jesus, his birth, life, and death, faith in the finished work at Calvary.
Friends, don’t let anything that is transient cheat you out of your eternity! Give your life to Jesus Christ today! Put your trust in Jesus totally, lean on him.
Employ your talent, skills and all, live your life for his glory! Eternity is real! Soon enough you and I will be on our way in our 100th year, if Christ tarry! Which will it be? Heaven or hell!!
Choose ye this day whom he shall serve – Joshua 24:15. Nothing in this world is worth your eternity! Your relationships, your worldly achievement, career, accolades, looks, money, power, influence, whatever, it is transient my friends!!!!
Reflect on the truth you already know! Take a stand! Seek to please him – Christ Jesus! Seek the good of His kingdom.
Jesus Christ is Lord! He is coming soon! Are you prepared?
