Boldly do I declare, I am no longer slave to fear, I am a child of God. I am no longer a slave to sin, I am a child of God.
Galatians 4:1 Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, 2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. 4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Friends, be aware though that the enemy will still come to deceive you. He will come through many means to question you. He will ask you if you are sure you are an heir of God through Christ Jesus. Oh, he will surely remind you of when you were a child under guardian and slave to sin according to Galatians 4:1.
Do not hesitate to declare your status. Don’t allow him to remind you of your past, shut him up by telling him of his future – Revelations 20:7-10
You, my dear one, are redeemed and set apart for good works for Christ’s glory, do not let the devil tell you otherwise! Hold your stand in faith, let their words not find a resting place within you. Rather, sing of your freedom in Christ Jesus always! Give glory to him who sits upon the throne, to whom be all glory, honor, and adoration!
Galatians 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so, it is now.
